Coverage for pre-existing medical conditions

Basically, a pre-existing medical condition is any disease, injury or illness that exists before your a travel insurance policy goes into effect. Most Canadian insurance companies will offer coverage for pre-existing medical conditions, but needless to say you should read the policy contract to take note of the exclusions, terms and conditions.

Stability, treatment, programmed tests, travel dates, medical health questionnaire, etc. must be taken into consideration to determine whether or not your medical conditions can be covered.

If your pre-existing medical condition is not stable, coverage can still be available under certain conditions. Contact me for more information.
