Why get Visitor to Canada travel insurance?

If you are coming to Canada as a tourist, temporary worker, refugee or family member of a resident, it’s important to know that you will not have access to the public health care system during your stay.

If you have applied for a SuperVisa for parents or grandparents, you have to provide proof of purchase of a private insurance with coverage for at least 1 year from the day you enter Canada,  and $100 000 CAD.

A hospital visit, emergency surgery or even a simple ambulance ride can cost thousands of dollars without insurance.

Visitor to Canada insurance will cover the unexpected expenses you incur during a medical emergency while visiting Canada.
